Just got back from my date with Steve.....we had a really great time and I would definitely go out with him again.....I believe he feels the same, too.  There was no break in conversation....and we found out that we both grew up in the same city.....small world!  He said it was "the best date of 2010."   I would have to agree!

Being single again after thirty five years of marriage to a man I thought was the only man that would or could fill my life with pleasures and a level of comfort and a boundless love that would never end -  DID!

After five or six blind dates which I thought was very adventures of me I became very disillusioned. These men were not what I would even consider as a partner and to say anything else would be unkind.  I also had an account with Match.Com as well as EHarmony and one or two others.  These services were even worse than the blind dating and I was actually scared to date some of these men.  What I also learned is that a few profiles were not real but just an advertisement for the service.

I thought I must not be ready yet and so I stopped dating for a while until I met Christine at a gathering.  When I met Christine I still thought that it just wasn’t my time – I was still afraid and very nervous.  Some time passed and I knew that I wanted companionship and or a relationship but how would I do this and where would I go to find it.  After a lengthy caring pep talk from Christine months before I even joined her dating service I knew I felt safe with Christine and so I sought her out and Select Singles Dating and became a member.  After meeting with Christine for over two hours I felt safe, secure, and my outlook was different – you should have been a psychologist!  For those of you who are a member of Select Singles Dating you know the time and effort and professionalism not to mention the genuine warmth  Christine puts forth to ensure a positive and healthy start to a relationship between two people.  I have been on two dates so far and let me tell you that both men are gentle, caring men.  My first date was with John and he is a dream – a person of strength and honor with a great personality and not bad looking eitherJ  I am a cautious person with deep scars but I can say without hesitation that John is a wonderful gentle man and he must have been hiding in that preverbal hay stack because I didn’t find him until now.  I am now entering this new venture with me, myself, and I.
